German Night

Once a month, Dan and I get together with our friends to do an international dinner out. We’ve been to India, Thailand and Japan so far. Last Friday, we decided to visit Germany at a place called Valhalla Table in Costa Mesa.


The menu


We started with this: house-made soft pretzel. Um, okay!


The closest I could come to beer: pear cider. It was delish.

The main course: house made sausage! Leave it to Costa Mesa to provide a German restaurant with a no-nitrate, organic, hormone-free, and all-natural sausage!! Dan had the traditional bratwurst and I ordered the turkey sausage with sundried tomatoes and Romano cheese.
