My friend, Molly, and I had a conversation almost 2 years ago about how we would each love to do parts of our wedding differently, mostly in the hair and photo department. Then we got this wild idea to do have her and her husband get dressed in their wedding attire and re-shoot some pictures. Originally, we were going to do the photos at the beach, but then Molly fell in love with the rustic look, so we ended up at Back Bay, after shooting a bunch at her mom’s gorgeous house. It was so much fun. I can’t wait to have someone do my pictures again. Assuming I still fit into my wedding dress . . .
I have been driving by Back Bay so much lately and have fallen in love with the ‘flowering weed’s that are springing up there. I knew I needed to do some sort of photoshoot there soon. I also really want to get into some fashion photography, so I emailed my friend, Jen, to see if she would be up for some modeling pics. She agreed and did a fantastic job. I never really had to pose her, this is all natural talent! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.
So what do you get when you bring 8 (yes 8!) kids to the park for a group picture?? No, this is not a joke. This was my photoshoot yesterday! It was a little chaotic, but still tons of fun. And I love being able to capture the kids by themselves to get some more personality to come out.
Meet the Atwood family. We had a little trouble at first getting some good smiling shots of both girls because the littlest one, Carina, was not feeling well. But after about a dozen or so animal crackers and many bubbles, she sprung to life with great energy! Her sister, Angelina, was equally energetic and fun to photograph. And don’t you just love their little dresses! So cute!!
