9 month old cuteness

These are pictures from a shoot last week. I have done newborn and 6-month old pictures for this family, but these are by far my favorite. Baby Jared was in a great mood and smiled a ton, but is not walking quite yet, so he was still easy to photograph! Also love the baby on the surfboard. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that prop earlier!

A few more

Just had to post of few more pics of my cousin’s adorable son, Jackson. He’s just too cute!

Something about this one is so sweet and innocent.

Classic smiling portrait.

“Jackson, where’s your tongue?” (he’s so smart!) We got a whole series of him pointing to various body parts, including toes, ears, nose, etc.

Another Pregnant Friend!

Last night, I got to do pregnancy photos for my good friends, the Richeys. So fun! Also on staff with me was an expert baby wrangler, Lisa, who helped tremendously in getting baby Cadence to smile!! We did the shoot in various parts of Corona del Mar and almost got wiped out by a wave on the beach. Good thing Amanda is in such good shape, so she was able to get up quickly. I won’t say the same for my camera bag, but everything appears to be okay. Here are a few to start with. More to come!

Finally!

Okay, so this is probably the easiest thing in the world but it has taken me over a year to figure out! I was having trouble with my photoshop program and it was only giving me the right tools every 1 in 20 tries. I recently joined Pictage to try them out and had to change the way I name my photos. Well somehow that was the missing link. Now my tools work 100% of the time, yay!!

So I’ve been playing with a few photos this morning and here are 2 that I’ve worked on using the skin softening feature with dramatic eyes. Take a look.

Here’s the regular photo, which looks pretty good. (it helps when you have a model as a friend!)

Now here’s the exact same photo with the things I mentioned above:

Again, regular photo . . .

And edited . . .

I’m loving it!!

Another cool photo of my friend, Jen . . .
