Olbrich Botanical Gardens invites proposals for temporary, light-based installations for GLEAM, Art in a New Light, a public art exhibition situated within a 16-acre Midwest landscape or a 10,000-square-foot tropical conservatory. The 2026 exhibition will focus on concepts that present a captivating environment, offer play experiences, and illuminate creatures of all shapes and sizes, real and imaginative. Southern Prize and State Fellowships for Visual Arts (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee)
This state-specific prize of $5,000 is awarded to artists whose work reflects the best of the visual arts in the South. The nine state fellowship recipients will compete for the $25,000 Southern Prize, which will be awarded to the artist whose work demonstrates the highest artistic excellence. A runner-up will be awarded $10,000.

Prisma Art Prize (International)
This annual art prize is open to artists working in painting, engraving, and drawing and offers exhibition opportunities and €2,000 in cash awards annually. There is a €34 entry fee.

Bobby Anspach Studio Foundation Grant Program (International)
The Bobby Anspach Studios Foundation launches its inaugural grant program to support creatives and researchers whose work deepens dialogue on meditation, psychology, creativity, and collective engagement as vital pathways to harmony and health. The foundation will award two grants of $50,000 and three grants of $8,000.

The Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant (International)
This program provides one-time financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs resulted from an unforeseen catastrophic incident and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Awardees typically receive $5,000 and up to $15,000.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (International)

Residencies, Fellowships, & More

Playground Detroit Emerging Artist Fellowship (Detroit)
The 2025 Emerging Artist Fellowship provides financial support and professional mentorship for artists to develop their individual practices. Three emerging Detroit artists will be selected to receive $5,000 Fellowship Awards in 2025. The fellowship prioritizes applications from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists and exhibition proposals exploring concepts addressing current issues and contemporary social justice topics.

Between Bridges Residency (International)
Between Bridges’ next residency for visual artists will take place from July to December 2026 and includes a working phase as well as a one-month exhibition or public presentation. The residency is open to professional individual artists, artist duos, or small groups working collaboratively. The residency provides access to the organization’s facilities in Berlin Schöneberg and offers a monthly stipend of €1,500 (regardless of the number of participants) and the opportunity for studio visits. An additional budget of €5,000 is allocated specifically for the exhibition or presentation.

ACRE Summer 2026 Residencies (International)
Artists’ Cooperative Residency & Exhibitions (ACRE) is an artist-run, community-driven organization that produces programs and initiatives offering ongoing resource-sharing and opportunities for professional growth. ACRE’s residency takes place every summer in rural Southwest Wisconsin, and facilities provide a range of workspaces for ceramics, textiles, sound, and more. The subsidized fee is $700 per person for a 14-day residency. There is a $45 application fee until November 9, then a $60 fee until November 18.
Deadline: November 18, 2025.

Bernheim Forest Artist-in-Residence Program (International)
Established in 1980, this internationally renowned program annually awards visual artists of all media the opportunity to live and create site-specific work inspired by their total immersion experience in the natural environment. Up to four artists are selected, with one residency always dedicated to an artist currently living in Kentucky or Clark and Floyd counties in Southern Indiana, and one residency always dedicated to an artist whose work addresses environmental issues and the climate crisis.

Prairie Ronde Spring 2026 Residencies (International)
Prairie Ronde is hosted by The Mill at Vicksburg, a redevelopment project of the former Lee Paper Company mill, in the historic village of Vicksburg, Michigan. Artists from a range of disciplines are provided with a five- to six-week residency to engage with The Mill and its surrounding 80-acre property. The spring residency period runs from March 15 to May 31. Artists receive a $2,000 stipend upon completion of the residency, a $500 travel grant, private housing, and a gallery show. There is a $25 application fee.

Jan van Eyck Academie 2027 Residency (International)
The Jan van Eyck is open to a wide array of disciplines and approaches, ranging from material-based to research-driven practices, addressing both urgent global issues and more personal inquiries. The residency runs for 11 months, from January 15 to December 15, 2026. Housing is included, and participants receive a monthly stipend from which accommodation rental is deducted. There is a €78.65 application fee (including VAT), and waivers may be available depending on location.

Glen Arbor Arts Center 2026 Artist-in-Residence (International)
The Glen Arbor Arts Center offers several opportunities for artist residencies each year. The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry invites submissions for the 2026 Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition. This annual show presents works from professional and emerging Black artists from across the U.S., as well as works by Black teen artists from the Chicagoland area. There is a $10 application fee; submissions to the teen category are free.

Verdant Fund supports individual artists, artist-curators, collectives, or collaboratives based in Alabama. Project grants of up to $7,000 prioritize perspectives from women artists, artists of color, artists with disabilities, Alabama artists living and/or working in rural communities, and LGBTQ artists.

The Supporting Act Foundation Artist Grants (Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, and the U.K.)
The Supporting Act Foundation, by WeTransfer, has designed the Artist Grant to help emerging artists from underrepresented groups whose practices involve some form of collaborative, collective, or creative process that benefits their community. Ten artists will be awarded unrestricted grants of €10,000.
Deadline: 11 a.m. CET on October 13, 2025.

Dutch Talent Project Grants (The Netherlands)
Rotterdam Photo, in collaboration with Amarte Fonds, presents the Dutch Talent Project Grants 2026. This initiative offers emerging photographers the opportunity to develop new work around the festival theme, Echoes of Silence – War in the Artist’s Soul. Selected artists will receive financial support, curatorial guidance, and a platform to exhibit their projects during Rotterdam Photo 2026.

Craft Research Fund Grant (U.S.)
The Center for Craft awards grants from $5,000 to $15,000 annually to support new and interdisciplinary research.

GLEAN Portland Artist Stipends (Portland, Oregon)
GLEAN is a juried program that gives five selected artists from the Portland area (Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties) access to the Metro Central transfer station (a.k.a. “the dump”) to source materials to use to create art. The GLEAN program will provide studio visits, marketing support, a stipend of $3,000, and group critiques with GLEAN artists and partners, culminating in an exhibition.

Morgan Conservatory Art of Papermaking 2026 Residencies (International)
The Morgan’s Artist in Residence (AiR) Program is funded by the Windgate Foundation to offer emerging and established artists from around the world who work with papermaking, book arts, and printing the opportunity to explore focused projects. Artists accepted into the program will receive a stipend, 24-hour access to Morgan facilities, and more.

2026 Art Omi Residencies (International)
Through a competitive jury process, residents are invited to attend Art Omi’s residencies at no cost to themselves, except travel expenses. Art Omi offers residents the time and space to hone their own craft in the Hudson Valley while cultivating a vibrant community of artists from around the globe. Residencies are open to practitioners of architecture, visual art, writing, and music, and a number of fellowships are available.

Quinn Emanuel Artists-in-Residence Program (Greater Los Angeles)
This residency is open to emerging and mid-career artists working in all disciplines. For four months, the artist-in-residence will be given a studio in the Quinn Emanuel Los Angeles office to support their existing practice or a new project as appropriate. At the end of the residency, an exhibition will be held, and at least one work will be incorporated into the permanent collection. A supporting stipend will be provided, as well as a materials allowance.

bEam Arts Residency Winter/Spring 2026 (International)
Located in Thessaloniki, Greece, bEam Arts hosts an international residency program to support artists’ vibrant studio practices. The Center for Art and Advocacy Fellowship 2026 (U.S.)
Formerly known as Right to Return, the Center for Art and Advocacy believes there is an abundance of uncultivated talent and exceptional creativity among individuals who share the lived experience of incarceration. The Center’s fellowship offers an annual award of $10,000 in unrestricted funds and $10,000 in project development funds to formerly incarcerated artists. Fellows are invited to an annual retreat to network with previous fellows, advocates, industry leaders, and funders.

Project Row Houses Artist Studio Residency (Houston)
Project Row Houses occupies a significant footprint in Houston’s Historic Third Ward, one of the city’s oldest African-American neighborhoods. Summer $1,800 Innovate Grants for Art + PhotoFeatured
Innovate Grant awards two $1,800 grants each quarter to one visual artist and one photographer. In addition, twelve applicants will receive honorable mentions, be featured on the website, and join a growing community. International artists and photographers working in any medium are eligible.

PHOTOcentric 2025: “State of Our Union” (International)
Garrison Art Center invites photographers to submit work for a collaborative exhibition exploring life in the U.S. over the past decade. The call is open to amateur and professional photographers 18 years and older who are working in all photographic mediums. The exhibition will run from November 1 to 23, 2025, and four $250 cash prizes will be awarded. There is a $30 application fee.

Design a Mini-Golf Hole for The Other Art Fair Chicago (International)
The Other Art Fair seeks imaginative and boundary-pushing artists, designers, and fabricators to create artist-designed mini-golf holes for the Chicago edition this fall. A $500 artist fee will be provided.

Moons, Castles, Trees | The Wrong Biennale ’26 | Copenhagen (International)
Artists, painters, photographers, writers, poets, calligraphers, illustrators, sculptors, print-makers, generative artists, graffiti and stencil artists are invited to submit still images, whether a single photograph or a series of up to six, that respond to questions about artificial intelligence. All image-making methods are welcome.

Ingram Prize 2025 (U.K.)
The Ingram Prize is an annual purchase prize open to visual artists who are within five years of graduation from a U.K.-based art school. Three shortlisted works are purchased for the Ingram Collection, and one finalist will receive a solo exhibition at Lightbox Gallery & Museum. Work by all shortlisted artists will also be exhibited at Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop in London for the Ingram Prize exhibition.

Denver International Airport Rotating Sculpture Program (International)
Through a competitive selection process, artists will loan DEN an existing large-scale sculpture or installation to be temporarily displayed. The sculpture or installation should create a sense of place, elevate visitor experience, and create a memorable impression of Denver and the region for travelers and staff. Artists are provided with a budget of $7,500.

MONSTER Exhibition Open Call (Germany)
MONSTER Exhibition is an international art project that began in 2013, originally inspired by the overwhelming impact of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami. At its core lies the symbolic theme of the Kaiju—a creature that, in Japanese culture, represents both divine nature and destructive power. The 13th edition will take place in Spring 2026 at the historic Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin. The entry fee is €25 (€15 for students).

The Abbey Harris Mural Fund (U.K.)
This grant supports artists creating semi-permanent or permanent public murals or site-specific works on walls in any medium. Funding of up to £7,000 is available for an artist or organization producing a public mural.

Contemporary Reflection Art Exhibition (International)
Artists from all disciplines are invited to submit artworks for the Contemporary Reflection exhibition, a curated showcase exploring the complexities of modern life, identity, and cultural transformation. Glen Arbor Arts Center Open Call for INteriors (International)

Open Call for Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt (International)

Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt runs from November 6 to 9.

1858 Prize for Contemporary Southern Art (Southern U.S.)
The Gibbes Museum of Art in partnership with 1858 Society is accepting applications for this $10,000 prize. Eligible applicants must reside, work in, or be from one of the following southern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia. Artadia Awards (Boston)
The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure, and recognition to artists. Following initial studio visits, the second round jury will designate three awardees to receive unrestricted funds of $15,000, as well as access to the Artadia Network.

MCAD-Jerome Foundation Fellowships with Early Career Artists (Minnesota)
This fellowship’s aim is to support early-career visual artists who create innovative work and challenge conventional artistic forms. One selected artist receives $10,000 in unrestricted award funds, $1,000 for professional development, three studio visits from professional critics, and an exhibition at the MCAD Gallery from January to March 2027.

Jar of Love Fund 2025 (New York City)
ARTNOIR has partnered with Sotheby’s for the 2025 edition of the Jar of Love Fund, providing support to artists, designers, curators, and cultural producers of color through unrestricted $5,000 grants.

Vital Impacts Environmental Photography Grant 2025 (International)
Vital Impacts offers one $20,000 grant to an established environmental photographer, along with six $5,000 grants to emerging photographers. These funds are specifically earmarked for the development of documentary projects focusing on environmental stories.

Foundwork Artist Prize (International)
The Foundwork Artist Prize is an annual juried award recognizing outstanding emerging and mid-career artists working in any media. In addition to the honoree, three artists per year are also named to a shortlist.

MAKE Thesis Grants (International)
The MAKE Thesis Grant champions and spotlights emerging talent by directly funding original animated thesis projects (short films). Senior BFA/BA and MFA/MA animation students (and teams) are welcome to apply. Prizes available include $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second place, and $1,000 for third place.

Booooooom Illustration Awards (U.S.)
Five winners across five categories, in addition to 20 shortlisted illustrators, will be featured in a special print publication, created exclusively to showcase award winners’ work. The Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant (International)
This program provides one-time financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs resulted from an unforeseen catastrophic incident and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Awardees typically receive $5,000 and up to $15,000.

Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund (Ukraine)
This fund commissions visual artists to create company projects on a rolling basis. Awardees will receive between $500 and $5,000.

Bloedel Reserve Creative Residency (International)
The mission of Bloedel Reserve’s Residency Program is to foster creative thinking inspired by nature and to explore the connection between humans and the environment. Residents are housed in a small home off the main paths, hidden in the woods on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Artists from the U.S. receive a $1,000 stipend, and international residents may submit up to $1,000 of expenses for reimbursement. There is a $20 fee to apply.

Tiger Strikes Asteroid x Transmitter Residency (International)
The TNT Residency includes a six-month, fully funded, 430-square-foot studio adjacent to both galleries at 1329 Willoughby Avenue, culminating in a solo exhibition or open studio event within the studio space. This open call is for the residency running from January 10 to June 21, 2026. The exhibition will include a $250 honorarium and professional installation shots. Residents from outside the NYC area will need to secure separate housing. There is a $35 application fee.

Sainsbury Scholarship for the British School at Rome (U.K. and Commonwealth)
The British School at Rome, in partnership with the Linbury Trust, offers the Sainsbury Scholarship to support a six-month residency in Rome, running from January 7 to June 30, 2026. This opportunity is open to an exceptional early-career artist working in any medium and is specifically intended to support Black visual artists, including those from Black African, Caribbean, and Black British communities.

Monson Arts Winter Residencies (International)
Monson Arts’ residency program supports emerging and established artists and writers by providing them time and space to devote to their creative practices in the North Woods of Maine. Residencies run for either two or four weeks, with five visual artist and five writers in a cohort. Residents receive a private studio, private bedroom in shared housing, all meals, and a $500 stipend for four-week programs or $250 for two-week programs. There is a $25 application fee.

Jentel Winter/Spring Residencies (U.S.)
Jentel, located in Wyoming, awards residencies to artists, writers, and composers 25 or older. Wave Hill Call for 2026 Sunroom Project Space Proposals (New York City)
The Sunroom Project Space offers artists in the early stages of their careers who reside within a 50-mile radius of the Bronx a chance to create and showcase a site-specific, solo project in Wave Hill’s Sunroom or Sun Porch of Glyndor Gallery. Artists will receive a $2,000 honorarium, exhibition and professional development support, and will have six to twelve months to research and develop ideas.

Open Call for Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2026 (International)
Staged since 2005, the Cottesloe coastal exhibition features more than 70 sculptures and is enjoyed by 220,000 visitors, making the show a feature of Perth’s cultural calendar. All types, forms, sizes, and materials are eligible for entry, and submissions are open to established and emerging artists. Awards include the Mostyn Family Foundation Artist Subsidy of $5,000, the Pommery Champagne Artist Award of $5,000, and the Kids’ Choice Prize of $2,000.

Hunt Museum Open Submission Exhibition 2025 (Ireland)
This exhibition offers a unique platform for both emerging and established artists to showcase their work in one of Ireland’s most respected cultural institutions. The Ellis-Beauregard Foundation is offering five $10,000 project grants for Maine artists working in all genres.

Seattle Art Museum Betty Bowen Award (Washington, Oregon, and Idaho)
The annual Betty Bowen Award is administered by the Seattle Art Museum and honors a Northwest artist for their original, exceptional, and compelling work. The top award is an unrestricted cash prize of $20,000 and a solo exhibition at the Seattle Art Museum. Additionally, up to two Special Recognition Awards ($4,000 each) and three Special Commendation Awards ($2,500 each) are often granted at the discretion of the Betty Bowen Committee. There is a $10 application fee.

Hornsby Art Prize (Australia)
The non-acquisitive Hornsby Art Prize celebrates Australian contemporary art and is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Categories include painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and sculpture. There is an overall prize pool valued at AUD$23,000, with first and second prizes of $10,000 and $5,000, respectively. The fee is $40 per entry.

QEST Emerging Maker Grants (U.K.)
QEST offers three grants to support makers and conservators at various career stages, strengthening the pipeline of talented craft professionals in the U.K. The organization supports contemporary and traditional craft, as well as the exploration of innovative techniques. The three tracks include Emerging Maker Grants, the QEST Scholarship, and the QEST Apprenticeship. Grants range from £3,000 to £12,000 depending on the program.

Liu Shiming Art Foundation’s Artist Grants (International)

Zion National Park Artist-in-Residence (International)
The Artist-in-Residence Program at Zion National Park offers professional artists of various media the opportunity to pursue their artistic discipline while being surrounded by the park’s inspiring landscape. Three artists will be selected for three-month residencies in 2026. Each artist receives free housing and a $500 travel reimbursement. There is a $20 application fee.

Bemis Center Autumn Residencies (International)
Selected artists-in-residence enjoy generously sized, private live/work studios in Omaha, a $1,250 monthly stipend, and a $750 travel stipend. Due to the limitations of B2 visas (touring/visiting), international artists-in-residence are ineligible for direct stipend payment but are eligible to receive reimbursement up to the total stipend amount of qualified expenses, such as airfare, ground transportation, and meals.

Art on the Block NYC 2026 Residency (New York City)
This five-week residency will take place in a NYC storefront (107 West 86th Street). The artist-in-residence will have the opportunity to transform the space into a studio and public viewing space. Artists should facilitate scheduled programming for youth, families, and adults, including art-making workshops, interviews, and more. There is a $6,000 stipend.

Powerhouse Arts Artist-in-Residence Program (New York City)
This Powerhouse Arts residency program supports emerging to mid-career artists working in print, ceramics, public art, and textiles who have been historically underrepresented in traditional residency programs, specifically Black, Indigenous, artists of color, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and low-income artists. Artists receive access to Powerhouse Arts’ facilities and communal studio space, free materials, professional development opportunities, a $10,000 honorarium, and a $5,000 materials stipend.

The Golden Foundation Residency (International)

Walker Youngbird Foundation—Emerging Native Arts GrantFeatured
This grant supports early-career Native artists who are honoring tradition while shaping the future of contemporary Indigenous art. Awarded twice annually, the $15,000 grant provides funding, mentorship, and a curated showcase to artists at a critical stage in their development.

Open to Indigenous artists across the U.S., its territories, and Canada, the grant supports the completion of a proposed project and can be used toward studio practice, exhibitions, research, or creative exploration. The Jim Henson Foundation Puppetry Residency (U.S./International)
The Jim Henson Foundation and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center partner for this annual residency, providing space and support to an artist/company working on the final stages of a new work of puppet theater. Residencies are two to three weeks and can support up to 12 participants. Projects must take place in the U.S., and the lead artist must be American, but international applications are welcome. In addition to the residency, artists will receive a $5,000 grant to help cover expenses.

This five- to eight-week residency is geared toward site-responsive projects and engagement with the land. Residents receive a $7,500 stipend, studio space, accommodations, and travel assistance.

Wassaic Project 2026 Residency Program (International)
Wassaic Project is accepting proposals for the 2026 summer and winter residencies. Artists receive a semi-private studio space; private room in a shared house (the Family program receives a private house); access to a wood shop, print shop, and kiln; staff support; and programming such as our visiting artist program, artist talks, studio visits, open studios, artist presentations, etc. The residency fee is $900, and fellowships are available. Audubon Photography Awards (U.S., Canada, Chile, and Colombia)
The Audubon Photography Awards celebrates the beauty and diversity of birds by honoring the best photos and videos of birdlife. The grand prize is $5,000, plus numerous other cash and in-kind prizes. There is a $15 fee per image or video submitted, except for entrants between 13 and 17 years old.

L+A+N+D: an experience of discovery—Bernheim Forest and Arboretum (International)
Located outside Louisville, Bernheim Forest and Arboretum’s newest Arts in Nature experience, L+A+N+D (Landscape + Art + Nature + Design) invites proposals for immersive outdoor installations. This innovative and timely initiative provides large-scale experiences with topics addressing humans’ connection to nature, beauty in the landscape, biodiversity, conservation, sustainability, and climate change, along with a stipend and a construction budget for fabrication and installation expenses.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m. EDT on March 24, 2025.

Bosch Parade 2026 (International)
Nothing and nobody is perfect, and defects are everywhere. The Bosch Parade 2026 pays tribute to all these imperfections, sailing under the title Powered by defect from June 18 to 21, 2026. Artists and collectives of all disciplines are eligible to submit their proposals for the bi-annual floating parade.

Grants

Spring 2025 QEST Grants (U.K.)
QEST offers three grants to support makers and conservators at various career stages, supporting contemporary and traditional craft, as well as the exploration of innovative techniques. Three scholarships and grants range from £3,000 to £18,000.

LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund (Los Angeles)
Led by the J. Paul Getty Trust with support from a coalition of major arts organizations and philanthropists, this fund is available to artists and arts workers in all disciplines impacted by the unprecedented wildfire crisis. Individuals may apply only once for up to $10,000. Funds are unrestricted, do not count as taxable income, and can be used in any way that alleviates financial hardship.
Deadline: 5:00 p.m. PST on February 18, 2025.

Asian Women Giving Circle Grants (New York City)
The AWGC’s request for proposals is open to both 501(c)(3) organizations and individual artists. Projects must highlight women and gender-expansive people’s leadership and/or central role and demonstrate a commitment to NYC-based communities. Six to eight project grants will be awarded, contingent on available funding. The maximum grant amount is $8,000.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m. EST on February 21, 2025.

The Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant (International)
This program provides one-time financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs resulted from an unforeseen catastrophic incident and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Awardees typically receive $5,000, up to $15,000.

Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund (Ukraine)
This fund commissions visual artists to create company projects on a rolling basis. Awardees will receive between $500 and $5,000.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (International)
The foundation welcomes applications from painters, sculptors, and artists working on paper, including printmakers. Grants are intended for one year and range up to $50,000. The artist’s circumstances determine the size of the grant, and professional exhibition history will be considered.

Residencies, Fellowships, & More

Watershed 2025 Summer Ceramic Arts Residency (International)
These summer residencies offer artists uninterrupted time in a state-of-the-art ceramics studio. During a session, up to eighteen artists form a creative community while living and working on campus. Participants enjoy 24-hour studio access, accommodations, and meals. Seven themed sessions are offered. Full and partial scholarships are available.
Deadline: February 1, 2025.

Kala Institute Artist-in-Residence Program (International)
Artists working in various printmaking techniques, photo processes, book arts, and digital media can apply for this program. The fellowship includes a $3,000 stipend, 24/7 access to Kala’s facilities for one to nine months, one month of free housing, a free Kala class or workshop, and participation in a group exhibition at Kala Gallery. There is a $25 fee to apply.
Deadline: 9:00 p.m. PST on February 2, 2025.

Artists in Residence in Everglades (AIRIE) Residencies (International)
The AIRIE Residency program is a fully immersive experience that revolves around the core principles of process, experimentation, and expanding one’s artistic practice. The residency offers a $4,000 research grant, institutional support from AIRIE’s network and partners, and a month-long residency in Everglades National Park (with an additional $1,500 financial support for travel and food). There is a $20 application fee.
Deadline: February 3, 2025, or when 500 applications have been received.

MacDowell Fellowship (International)
Artists of all backgrounds working in architecture, film/video arts, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theater, and visual arts are eligible. About 300 artists are selected each year and provided exclusive use of a studio, accommodations, and three prepared meals a day for two to six weeks. There is a $30 application fee.
Deadline: February 10, 2025.

Long Meadow Residency (U.S.)
Long Meadow Art Residency is a six-week to three-month solo residency in the Berkshire Mountains. LMAR offers studio space, housing, a $3,000 monthly living stipend, a $2,500 supply budget, and access to a vehicle for transportation.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m. EST on February 15, 2025.

The Watermill Center Summer Program (International)
This residency brings 20 artists together for four weeks at The Watermill Center. Participants are invited to develop new works alongside emerging artists and established creative professionals from various countries and disciplines. There is a $12 application fee.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m. EST on February 19, 2025.

Self as Universe: Mending Our Collective Ecosystem (International)
Open to artists of all disciplines working with environmental and cultural issues, this residency offers a $3,000 stipend, $2,000 material budget, accommodations, meals, and studio space.

Arts/Industry Residency at John Michael Kohler Arts Center (International)
Focus on creating work using industrial materials and processes in studios at Kohler Co.’s factory in Wisconsin. Experience in clay and metal is not required. Twelve three-month residencies are open for 2026.

The Seattle Prize Masters Fellowship (International)
Early-career representational painters with a commitment to the classical tradition are encouraged to apply for this new fellowship. Between five and ten artists will be chosen for the program, which awards a $50,000 annual stipend, free studio space in Seattle, mentorship, and support.
